An update on the Hawes turning circle works and opening from City of Edinburgh Council…

Many of you will have noticed the works were almost completed at the turning circle many weeks ago. I’ve asked for a few changes to be made before we fully reopen the new road layout.

Our contractor is working there now, and we expect the new layout, the new road signs and markings to be laid ready for an opening around the 21st/22nd December 2021. We will also remove the temporary markings/yellow lines laid as part of the Spaces for People turning area in the car park.

A new TTRO will also be advertised next week to cover the new restrictions/prohibitions.
