Do you own a business or run an organisation in Queensferry?

Would you like it to be featured in a new local publication that is currently under construction? Welcome to Queensferry has been commissioned by Queensferry & District Community Council (QDCC) and is generously supported by housebuilder, Cala Homes.

To be released in the autumn, this new publication is intended to be a much needed welcome guide for new and existing members of the community and visitors to it. The publication will contain heritage stories, historical facts, local knowledge and your input is welcomed! It is intended that this new publication will also include a comprehensive directory of the businesses and organisations that exist in Queensferry. There are plans to update the publication on an annual basis, as funding allows.

It is hoped that every current business and organisation will contribute to the directory featured within the publication. You will be able to provide information about the business or organisation you represent and this will be included. Moreover, the directory itself will be used by QDCC as a definitive record of the businesses and membership organisations operating within the community. This will be used to shape and direct decisions made by the council for the benefit of the town and its residents.

While there is a nominal charge to have your non profit organisation featured in the publication – privately owned businesses pay a little more – this covers the administration of the service itself and any surplus will be used to establish a fund, managed by QDCC, that will make payments to local good causes at their discretion. Your listing is a subscription and renews annually. Spotlight advertisers will have their business featured free of charge and do not need to register.
